| Job Description The Licensing Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting company compliance with local jurisdiction licensing codes and ordinances related to Residential Property Management, Rental Registration, Inspections, and New ConstructionDevelopment activity. This position interacts with various external business entities such as City, Village, County, and Assessor personnel and coordinates activity across several internal departments to ensure compliance in over 1,300 jurisdictions for 60,000-plus single family residential rental homes and offices operating as multiple legal entities. Maintain valid rental property and management licenses by managing an assigned portfolio of residential rental properties, business offices, property management, and general contractor entities. Prepare, process, and remit new and renewal applications timely. Gather data from accounting or other records to calculate fees, create payment support, and process invoices. Create packages including tenant information, leases, and other required information for jurisdiction compliance. Research jurisdiction locales and business licensing code and ordinance requirements. Document research and accurately enter information in custom Registration Module, Property Management software, and SharePoint databases. Maintain updated status of business licenses and rental registrations for rental properties, Owner, and ResidentProperty Manager entities. Coordinate the rental inspections process with various stakeholders Resident and Property Management, City Code Violation, In-House Maintenance Scheduling, Home Maintenance Services team, Accounts Payable, Notary, Jurisdiction Inspector, Jurisdiction administrators to ensure progress until the property inspections pass, all payments are processed, and Certificate of Occupancy is issued. | |
| Skills Required HS Diploma or GED. 1+ year of exp in Compliance, Accounting, Property Mgmt, Research and Analysis or similar field. Proficient in MS Office including Excel. | |
| Skills Preferred AA Degree in Business Mgmt, Business Admin, Accounting or similar. Notary License. Subject matter expertise in Business Licensing. Familiarity with SharePoint, Yardi Voyager or CRM Dynamics. | |
