| Job Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. The role and responsibilities focus on the accuracy and integrity of a companys accounting information. They manage the accounting and related tasks, including the day-to-day completion of accurate record keeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations. Reconcile account balances and bank statements monthly and quarterly to ensure accuracy. Document balance sheet reconciliations with a focus on comparing the financial statement records to external sources. Analyze and reconcile physical versus book inventory, resolve findings to the team, and post adjustments. Prepare financial statements, including the analysis of the financial records and data. Analyze and summarize data in support of compliance and tax reporting. Prepare and submit the California sales tax return which includes district schedule. Post direct to consumer DTC daily sales totals on a regular basis and document discrepancies. Reconcile DTC cash receipts, post, and resolve discrepancies. Review, post, and report on revenue trends wholesale, DTC, or bulk. Manage the regular DTC and production inventory reconciliations. Manage the positive pay process with the bank, including clearing exceptions. Back-up for accounts payable posting and vendor payments. Suggest ways to improve accounting processes and avoid errors. Assist with risk assessments and accounting policy assessments. Maintain the general ledger and ensuring its accuracy and effectiveness Assist with wine pick-ups, answering phones calls, or at quarterly pick-up party, if needed. Other duties as assigned. | |
| Skills Required HS DiplomaGED. 5+ yrs of accounting exp. Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Able to summarize and reconcile data. | |
| Skills Preferred Degree in accounting, finance or business. Familiar with PowerBI. | |
