| Job Description Responsible for overseeing accounts receivable and payable functions, and supporting the accounting and financial reporting for a real estate portfolio. Match, batch, and code invoices on a daily basis. Review all submitted invoices to ensure proper approvals and compliance with AP policies. Process AP checks promptly to ensure invoices are paid within terms. Distribute checks to vendors and employees in a timely manner. Maintain an accurate and organized filing system for check copies, invoices, and related reports. Respond to all vendor inquiries promptly and professionally. Follow up on vendor statements by verifying payments and providing updates. Request and maintain W-9 forms and Certificates of Liability Insurance from vendors. Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned. Receive notifications from Property Managers regarding new tenant lease applications and abstracts. Accurately and promptly upload new tenant and property information. Process daily tenant rent deposits via mail and automated bank deposit systems. Generate and distribute monthly tenant rent billing and statements. Review aging summary reports and coordinate with Property Managers to address delinquent accounts professionally. Process ACH debit adjustments, resolve discrepancies, and research missing or misapplied payments. Maintain accurate reports and well-organized historical records to support year-end audits and address inquiries. Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned. | |
| Skills Required 2+ yrs of accounting exp. Proficient in MS Office. High level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information into databases. Strong communication skills. | |
| Skills Preferred BA Degree in Accounting or similar. Real estate exp. Exp with Yardi. | |
