| Job Description Working collaboratively with the project superintendent for a quality pre-con and construction ensuring the schedule is in place, being followed, and being updated with a level of detail sufficient for a meaningful baseline. Establishing and building relationships with clientsowners, owners reps, architects and subcontractors, resulting in repeat business and recommendations. Managing client expectations. Project bidding and buyout, start up, jobsite management and efficient closeout. Managing subcontractor procurement, submittals, RFIs and change orders. Minimizing risk. Executing regular reporting on impacts to the baseline schedule. Working collaboratively and proactively with the project superintendent ensuring project safety. Delegating appropriately and developing and teaching others to be effective. Project documentation. The projects gross margin and profitability. Managing subcontractors. Reviewing and processing RFIs and submittals. Reviewing plans and specifications. Processing change orders. Obtaining information and approvals from owners, architects and engineers for the timely processing of shop drawings. | |
| Skills Required BA Degree. 3+ yrs of multi-family construction exp specifically of 50 to 300 unit buildings condos, townhomes, hotels, apartments. 2+ yrs exp in project mgmt. Knowledge of A102 and A201 contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs and closeouts. | |
| Skills Preferred Bachelors in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology pref. Bluebeam, BIM, Suretrak and Procore software. | |
