| Job Description Will negotiate the purchase of land for commercial purposes and acquiring the right of way for a long-distance fiber network. Other duties include identifying potential sites, handling negotiations for the use of roads or other rights for construction purposes, making land assessments, and settling any damage claims that arise from the building process. Must be highly-proficient with legal contracts, real estate laws and regulations, as well as any environmental regulations that may potentially affect the subject sites. Will negotiate access agreements, socialize with property owners and communicate directly with the client regarding agreement language and other impacts. The Agent processes fee payments with a company issued credit card or check when required and will provide comprehensive status updates to company and client on request. | |
| Skills Required Must have a valid CA Brokers License or direct business connections to real estate brokers, escrow and title companies. 5+ yrs exp negotiating full-take land purchases for a commercial or private buyer. Proficiency MS Office Adobe and GIS software. | |
| Skills Preferred Bachelors degree or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree is preferred | |
