Job Description
Our North American Performance and Race division is seeking a Key Account Manager to build relationships with Performance customers and decision makers for both aftermarket parts distribution and trackoff-road race teams and vehicle constructors. The position is remote but must be willing to travel for regular in-person meetings with clients and stakeholders. Build relationships with customer influencers and decision makers, across their sales, marketing, supply chain, planning, quality, and procurement functions to continually evaluate customer share of spend on products, currently offered by the customer, against perceived equivalent products in samesimilar categories. Work with product management, marketing, planning, and engineering resources to address the above opportunities with new products. Introduce these new products into customer inventory and product catalogs print and online. Developdeliver training materials, for customer sales staff and their dealers, to understand and sell these new products. Work with marketing to developdeliver material for the customers periodic trainingcommunication events for sales staff, dealers, and end customers. Successfully, and in a timely manner, close customer negotiations for cost-driven price increases or contractual cost-downs. Provide and support the preparation of accurate sales forecasts and trends for monthly, quarterly reporting as well as annual and five-year planning. Arrange and manage visits of customer stakeholders to our manufacturing sites in the US, Mexico and Europe as appropriate. Participate in continuous improvement activities to build efficiency and effectiveness across our business. Ensure that internal stakeholders are aware of changing technological, market, and customer requirements, ensuring that these are recorded and shared efficiently. Skills Required
5+ years of experience, in a similar role.
Skills Preferred
Experience in manufacturing and automotive, is huge plus.
