Job Description
As a leader of our North American OE sales team you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, mentoring, and leading our North American OE Key Account Management and Development team. Manage the delivery of revenue and profitability against existing annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Ensure the use of a structured sales process including customer cross-functional relationship building, the identification and qualification of sales opportunities, as well as RFQ completion, negotiation, and successful conversion. On an annual basis, lead the creation of our North American OE annual budgets and rolling five-year plans. On a monthly basis report sales and profitability performance to senior leadership team of which this role is a member and investors, along with root-causes and remedial actions for significant variances. As appropriate, ensure that internal stakeholders are aware of changing technological, market, and customer requirements, which may positively or negatively affect our business performance. Manage self and direct reports in the development or relationships with US OE customer influencers and decision makers, across their engineering, supply chain, planning, quality, and procurement functions to Ensure involvement in new customer projects at the earliest possible stage, to understand customer points of pain, to be in the strongest position to develop and communicate winning and profitable value propositions at the time of customer RFQs. At the earliest possible stage engage engineering and operational teams in customer discussions, to enhance customer perception of company as a strong engineering, delivery, and customer service partner. In line with the above, supported by marketing and engineering teams, set up and manage annual tech days with the engineering and procurement teams of specific key customers. Successfully, and in a timely manner, close customer negotiations for cost-driven price increases or contractual cost-downs.
Skills Required
5+ yrs of senior level exp in a similar role. Exp successfully growing a business and managing a growing team.
Skills Preferred
Experience in manufacturing and automotive, is huge plus.
