Customer Account Manager Needed in Simi Valley
Job Description
Responsible for activities related to the administration and day-to-day account management of external and internal customers. Prepare and present weeklymonthly Business salesforecast reports monitoring Business internally and to Japan members. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer key stakeholders building trust and ensuring customer needs are met within contract parameters. Attend customer meetingsconference calls and follow-up on action items to closure. Liaise with Manufacturing, Operation and Finance departments to communicate and respond to customers requirements, queries and requests. Monitor and track revenue attainment via direct interface with business development as well as major customer accounts. Update, distribute and present weekly revenue tracking and forecast updates. Update, distribute and present biweekly Customer Status Updates. Coordinate business planning and forecast inputs including Fiscal year, mid period updates, longer range MTP. Primary customer contact for forecast submission. Ensure forecasts are submitted as stipulated in customer agreement. Ensure order submissions are consistent with forecast. Work with Operations as necessary to review incorporate customer forecast input into purchasing or production plans. Track variance to forecast and obtain information from customers as to contributing factorsbackground related to variances. Ensure adherence to pricing guidelines as well as initiate pricing reviews prior to expiration of time sensitive pricing arrangements. Ensure contract adherence to pricing, terms, royalty reporting, etc. Coordinate with EMEA or Japan teams as required. Keep abreast of customer account status and cooperatively work with Finance as necessary. Occasionally engage directly with customers on payment arrangements andor shipment releases. Establish strong, professional, friendly relationships with key customer stakeholders. Interface as needed with Engineering, Business Development, Production
Skills Required
BA Degree in Business Admin, Sales or similar. 5+ yrs progressive exp in sales or account mgmt. Knowledge of the principles of effective customer mgmt. Able to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines. Proficient in MS Office.
