| Inventory Control Specialist needed in Oxnard CA | |
| Job Description You will track and monitor inventory goods in the SAP software system. Execute daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts of all materials on-site and comparereconcile to system reports. In close communication with key plant personnel you will relay inbound and outbound shipments and inventory remaining. Ensure all inventory and finished product are accurately accounted for and reconcile daily. Ensure all packaging and ingredient materials are properly identified and FIFO first in, first out method is maintained. Perform random blind checks of inbound and outbound packaging material and raw ingredients. Unloading trucks as needed using Powered Industrial Trucks. Communicate as required with truck drivers, customers, vendors and suppliers in a professional manner. Expected to function as an engaged employee and contribute to the sites continuous improvement efforts. Follow all GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements. | |
| Skills Required HS Diploma or GED. 2+ yrs of consecutive warehouse inventory exp. Exp tracking, counting and matching inventory to purchase orders. Exp with temperature control checks on product. | |
| Skills Preferred SAP exp. Food industry exp and ability to understand expiration dates of product. Exp using batching systems as it relates to inventory. | |
