| Job Description Seeking a hands-on leader who can join our Senior Management team and instantly make a positive impact. Will report directly to the President and regularly interact with ownership to drive the businesses operational and financial results. Essential ResponsibilitiesPrepare and own responsibility for the integrity of timely and accurate monthly financial statements, accounting, and financial reporting, including the month-end closing process.Collaborate cross-functionally with various parts of the business to drive growth and efficienciesSupport and collaborate with President to execute on the strategic plans of the business and create enterprise valueResponsible for reporting and presenting financials to the Board of Directors as needed, typically on a quarterly basis.Responsible for the distribution of monthly financial statements and KPIs to ownership and the Senior Management team.Responsible for YE financial reporting and close and preparation and distribution of reports as required.Own the annual budgeting process. Manage and serve as a budgetary advisor for department managers with the ability to discuss and analysis variance with department manager and maintain quarterly rolling forecasts.Oversee the Human Resources Manager, Business Analyst IT Applications Operations, and other members of the accounting functionOversee the processing of quarterly sales commissions.Own annual audits by collaborating with external auditors. Take lead in coordinating and prioritizing information requested and direct actionable items to department heads.Lead the accounting and finance functions ensuring compliance and internal controls, including the oversight andor preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls, guidelines, and documented process procedures, while safeguarding corporate assets and ensuring company policies are followed.Lead process improvements for the financial close and reporting process to drive e | |
| Skills Required Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop team members.10 years of progressively responsible professional accounting exp with 3+ years of management expComprehensive understanding of GAAP financial accounting Bachelors degree. | |
| Skills Preferred CPA Certification a plus5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred ERP experience, experience with Epicor a strong plus.Experience working in a private equity backed business a plus. | |
