Job Description
Responsible for the supply chain management and logistics responsibilities for incoming and outgoing materials at the Tremonton Facility. The Production Control Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager. The selected candidate must be able to work closely with production, technical support, quality, and design teams.Manages employees assigned to meet customer and supplier requirementsplanning including support functions such as shipping and receiving, inventory control, packaging, and storage. Acts as logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process are coordinated in such a way that customer requirements and time constraints are met. May include responsibility for customer service, domestic andor international shipping, andor administering safety programs. Provides direction to team members based on general policies and management guidance. Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect reporting organizational units. Accomplishes results with supervisors, team members, andor through experienced salaried employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations. Becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complexsystemic challenges. Ensures workprojects are completed on schedule and within budget. Approves expenditures within budget policies and guidelines. Provides resources and removes obstacles and barriers. Manages the warehouse functions and movement of material throughout the facility. Leads the creation of action plans and policy deployment and manages efforts to achieve area and plant goals. Teaches, coaches, and facilitates problem solving, project management, and application of Autoliv Production System APS principles. Verifies processes and standards are being followed and improved. Skills Required
Firm understanding and experience in Supply Chain required. Ability to handle the rapid changes of the supply chain schedule.
Skills Preferred
3-5 years of leadership experience preferred. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred
