Job Description
Review weekly payroll for temporary associates, biweekly payroll for non-exempt associates and monthly payroll for exempt associates, including preparing and reviewing payroll data utilizing the HRIS. Train supervisory and managerial associates on relevant topics and provide support with related issues. Manage the full employee life-cycle submit requisitions, work with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and external partners to recruit for qualified candidates, conduct and schedule interviews, prepare offer packages and pre-employment checks, coordinate and lead onboarding efforts, prepare documentation and process employee changes in HRIS, prepare exit documentation and conduct exit meetings. Administer benefit programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employeesdependents as situations arise. Resolves employee complaints related to health and welfare plans. Support Talent Management efforts at the site and train employees, supervisors, and managers on employee development items. Manage the leave of absence and workers compensation processes, including documentation in accordance with state and federal laws. Act as a key resource for employee relations issues and concerns, including initial intake of issue, maintaining documentation, interviewing relevant parties, and providing final reportresolution. Apply understanding of company policies, practices, and employment law to answer questions and provide clarification on employee issues and topics. Generate HR reporting metrics for key stakeholders. Maintain I-9 tracking system, EEO filing, regulatory postings for employees, and other compliance items. Drive a culture of appreciation by administering employee recognition programs and planning company events and activities. Analyze areas of improvement and make recommendations for new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continuous improvement efforts within the department and the site.
