| Job Description The Accounting Manager will be responsible to manage our winery accounting department. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, meeting the licensingcertification requirements for the winerydistillery business, forecastingbudgeting, developing internal accounting controls, and building a strong financial team. The Accounting Manager position reports directly to the owners of the company.Responsibilities and DutiesManage day-to-day operations and ensure that there is a cross-training in place for every critical operationCreate internal accounting policies and procedures for each process.Monitor technology to determine accounting process required to ensure accuracy and accountability.Develop monthly, quarterly, and annually accounting reports for distribution to management.Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules.Budgeting and ForecastsDevelop reports to assist in management of financial data.State and Federal Regulatory Compliance, licensing and Taxes. | |
| Skills Required Bachelors. 5+ years experience in Manufacturing Accounting. Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting skills. Strong leaderhsip abilities hands-on skills with staff. | |
| Skills Preferred Wine Production accounting experience a plus.RD Tax Credit exp is preferred | |
