Responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of real estate and investment entities.Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries. Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations. Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and tax team or with other departments. Prepare Bank Reconciliations. Prepare Financial Statements. Support month-end and year-end close process. Perform special projects as assigned. Handle various other duties as delegated by Management. Follow all organizational systems, programs, training, policies and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as required. Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
BA Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3 yrs of accounting exp, preferably in the real estate field. Proficient in Word, Excel pivot tables, vlook ups. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with Intacct.. Familiar with SEC filings and regulations.
