Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the HR Employee Relations Manager, and indirect supervision of the HR Employment Manager, the People Analyst will analyze people data related to HR and interdepartmental initiatives and projects. The People Analyst will manage the project life cycle communicate project status, goals, and targets and research, develop, and implement policies and procedures as needed. Build and manage relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders, as directed. Manage new HR projects and research innovations and efficiencies to drive meeting strategic goals. Coordinate with leadership across agency divisions to ensure all relevant parties to a project are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. Develop and maintain spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document and track project needs. Support ER Manager in creation and revision of new policies and procedures as needed. Assist in modifying current policies and developing new policies as necessary. Research and maintain awareness on new legislation to support when policy adjustments are needed to comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Support and collaborate with CHRO, Director of Organizational Development, and HR Managers with People data and analytics needs report and identify emerging opportunities for further analysis. Develop reporting and analytics solutions including dashboards that deliver data driven insights using, employee surveys and other data sources to identify and highlight trends affecting the employee life-cycle with a focus on employee engagement and retention. Stay informed by working closely with the HR leadership team to develop an understanding of people issues and challenges that require people analytics. Research regularly on the latest HR trends that speak to the data results on what is happening within the agency. Skills Required
BA in HR, Business Admin, Statistics or similar. 3 yrs of People Analytics or Data Science exp with focus on people trends. Exp in analyzing people data related to HR and interdepartmental initiativesprojects. Project tracking, policies and procedures.
Skills Preferred
Exp with data collection and analysis, HR data reporting and conducting statistical analysis, research design and interpretation of results. Proven expertise in utilizing Workday for human resources data, reporting, and analytics.
