| Job Description Join our growing team! As a key relationship manager maintaining and building client relationships while serving as their trusted advisor, you are instrumental in helping clients understand their financial numbers to drive strategic business decisions. Mentor a talented team of Accounting Technicians and oversee the monthly financial close process and other ad-hoc projects. Make a critical impact on your clients financial success working with dynamic and growing businesses in the apparel, consumer goods, entertainment, professional services, and real estate industries. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced managerial accountant who is seeking to have a bigger impact on small and mid-sized businesses and serves as a subject matter expert to their clients. They are passionate about seeing their clients succeed while enjoying a flexible work environment with strong mentor-ship, training, and support. Lead a team of Accounting Technicians to provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and reporting to our small and mid-sized business clients. Use GAAP principles to monitor compliance, accounting policies and procedures. Work with our cross functional team in cleanup projects, implementation, and accounting process development. Be a subject matter expert, developing reporting solutions including KPIs, budgets and forecasts. Serve as a partner with sales leadership to identify areas of growth within the current portfolio. Coach and support junior accounting staff. Leverage your position as a trusted advisor to the client to identify and utilize technologies to improve internal and clients accounting processes. | Skills Required BA Degree in Finance or Accounting. 7+ yrs of full cycle accounting exp. 2+ yrs exp in team leadership. Extensive QuickBooks exp including 3rd party apps such as Shopify or A2X. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. | |
