Job Description
In this hands-on role as Senior HR Generalist, you will work closely with the Human Resources team to implement human resource programs and policies including curating a talent pipeline and nurturing talent development, analyzing compensation reviews, supporting employee relations, implementing training, and ensuring compliance with federalstate employment regulations for the headquarters office in downtown Los Angeles, and regional offices across North America. Talent Take the lead on fulfilling the staffing needs of the Division, ensuring proper onboarding and orientation of new hires. Employee Relations Establish good working relationships with managers and employees with both the headquarters and regional offices. Address issues and concerns promptly, and with guidance and in partnership with the HR Manager conduct employee investigations when necessary. HR Problem Solving Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Employment Development Partner with managers, the HR Manager, and Corporate HR Learning and Development to identify development opportunities and training programs to ensure growth opportunities for employees. Workforce Planning Assist with the continual process to align staffing needs to meet current and future organizational objectives. Performance Management In partnership with the HR Manager, work collaboratively with managers towards achieving employees individual goals and objectives, which includes managing the performance review process, performance improvement, and professional development plans. HR Compliance and Reporting Develop and distribute reports for HR projects or functions using the selected tools for HR reporting. Conduct exit interviews to determine trends in attrition.
Skills Required
BA Degree. 5+ yrs exp in HR. Proven exp in recruiting and HR fundamentals including EEO laws and conflict resolution.
Skills Preferred
SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP. Insurance or Financial Services industry exp. Workday implementation exp.
