| Job Description Follow established laboratory safety and operational procedures. Conduct or organize calibration activities for mechanical, electrical, and linear equipment according to established procedures to maintain calibration status. Schedule and coordinate calibrations among various departments. Calibrate Enter data into calibration management system. Preventive maintenance and repair. Perform repair and preventive maintenance on gagesequipment as needed. Prepare calibration reports and certificates. Track and maintain all equipment status. Initiate NCR for all out of tolerance equipment as required. Ensure all calibration is in accordance with approved Procedures. Document all activities in a legible manner following established formats and procedures. Represent the Calibration function during regulatory inspections. | |
| Skills Required HS Diploma or GED. 3 yrs exp in manufacturing setting. Exp with inspection equipmenthand gauges. Good mechanical aptitude and ability to read blue prints. | |
| Skills Preferred Good understanding of Calibration principles preferred. PMEL or equivalent training preferred. Experience with SAP or equivalent Calibration Software, Laser Micrometer and Quality Control Inspection Equipment preferred. | |
