| Job Description Proficiency with assembly of printed circuit boards, reading assembly drawings, and soldering surface mount components such as 0402 passives and fine pitch ICs in an ESD safe environment. IPC certification or equivalent is a plus. Proficieny with the assembly of cable assemblies, including crimping, soldering, cutting wire to length, etc. Ability to conduct precision prototype and production mechanical assembly, including utilizing hand tools. Familiarity with fasteners and ability to read assembly instructions is also required. Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and performing quality checks, including measurements with calipers and handheld multimeters. Ability to create assembly instructions based on prototype assembly work, including use of Microscoft Word. Familiar with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and DMMs. Experience in troubleshooting of printed circuit boards and mechanical assemblies. Familiar with ordering parts through online distribution. Able to seek alternatives for electronics components. Familiarity with documentation control systems, specifically creating part numbers and uploading drawings files. | |
