| Job Description Product Engineer I will drive all activities required in the Product Development of new products. Working with customers to develop fluid transfer solutions and work with input from Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Production to implement the process to manufacture these solutions. Product Engineer I will lead activities to select fluid transfer components, design new fluid transfer components, develop tooling, and develop manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES FUNCTIONS TASKS-Responsible for generating production and sales support documentation i.e. drawings, engineering changes, project requests, Bills of Material, Engineering Cost Analysis, etc.-Works with suppliers to incorporate the best manufacturing methods into the design-Work independently and manage design projects as part of a multi-disciplined project team-Travel to other plant locations to assist production teams and to develop and complete projects-Design, develop, and test new product-Perform Project Cost Analysis and assist sales in developing a quote package-Participate in the developmentbuild of prototype-Lead activities related to engineering changes-Ability to manually calculate basic engineering and mathematical functions-Attention to detailENVIRONMENT PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS--Environment InsideOffice --Physical activity Sedentary with moderate walking | |
| Skills Required --BSME--Experience with 3-D Cad systems is required Solidworks, Inventor, etc.--1 to 2 years experience in new product development, Project Management or Product management preferred--Familiarity with brake, oil, and fuel line industry is a plus | |
