Job Description
Input invoices, ensure that company and producer commission is recorded correctly, follow up on balance due and renewal invoices, set up financing contracts.Process credit card charges in cash receipts, balance batches.Prepare timesheets for payroll service, track paid time off, enter journal entries for tax expenses, 401k and health insurance. Update 401k contributions and matches and post online with retirement company.Prepare bank deposits maintain bank balances, make transfers, reconcile at month end.Prepare company payable and expense payments, balance company payable ledger.Review and reconcile commission statements. Process producer commission reports for payments to producers.-Review and research quarterly bonus potential for producers on new business accounts.Review and pay general agent request for additional payment on premiums.Coordinate tax filings and payments with CPA monitor office supply levels and re-order. Research pricing on supplies online to reduce costs. Monitor office supply levels and re-order. Skills Required
Must have 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience for the Insurance industry. Accounting experience using Quickbooks and coordinate tax filling information to provide to CPA. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong Excel.
