| Job Description Will coordinate activities of employees engaged in packaging and shipping of products to customers and in verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments.Performs and oversees all outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipmentsEnsures that goods are packaged and protected for shipping according to specificationStays up to date on customer portal requirements and provides training when requiredReviews shipping notices orders and other records to determine shipping priorities work assignments and shipping methods required to meet customer schedulesActs as main point of contact for all logistic issues including customs callsPlans work schedules assigns duties and evaluates work for accuracy and conformance to policiesWork with management to establish and modify department proceduresMaintains appropriate shipping documentationEnsures that adequate departmental staffing is available | |
| Skills Required HSGED. 5+ years ShippingPackaging or related experience. 2 years supervisory lead or senior shipping experience. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Experience in Aerospace manufacturing. Basic math. | |
| Skills Preferred Customer portal knowledge such as Exostar PWC Honeywell UTAS a plusKnowledge of manufacturing processes a plus | |
