Under the direct supervision of the HR Employee Relations Manager, and indirect supervision of the HR Employment Manager, the HR Generalist is responsible for managing various projects to completion across the HR Department and reporting on the status of ongoing project goals and targets, as well as researching, developing, and implementing various policies and procedures as needed. The Generalist will serve as backup to HR Business Partners, Benefits Specialists, and the Recruitment team as needed, and will field general employee questionsconcerns, and redirect to the appropriate entity e.g. HR Business Partner, Benefits team, etc as needed.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProject Tracking, Policies, Procedures 50Manage new HR projects and research new ideas and efficiencies to keep us on track for meeting our strategic goals.Help proactively create and implement new policies and procedures as needed to support HR strategic goals. Assist in modifying current policies and developing new policies as necessary.Regularly review HR processes and procedures to identify potential improvements or modifications needed.Maintain current knowledge on new legislation to identify and determine when policy adjustments are need to comply with federal, state, and local regulations.Research, develop, and implement policies to comply with all applicable state and local regulations for remote employees working in new counties or states.General Support 25Acts as a support for HR Business Partners and Benefits Specialist as needed, such as during leaves or surges in workload.With other HR staff, handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex andor sensitive matters to the appropriate HR staff.Efficiently gather and analyze data as needed pulling reports, collecting data from various divisions and departments and preparing summaries of the data gathered to provide to leadershipMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulat
