Job Description
Assist in the transition from a paper system to a cloud based project management system Arena. Will log parts into the system along with all pertinant information. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties including assisting with inventory control and management, MRP system entries, shipping domestically and internationally, receiving and packaging. Documents business processes in areas of responsibility. Assists in documentation control and the writing of documentation. Maintains Shipping, Receiving, Inventory rooms and areas in a neat and orderly manner. Coordinates and facilitates all domestic and international shipments. Assists with scheduling of demo inventory for sales demonstrations and marketing opportunities. Coordinates shipment of demo inventory through interaction with shipping companies. Maintains accurate schedule of shipments and notifies appropriate parties of changes. Monitors shipping costs and optimizes shipping methods. Prepares documentation for domestic and international shipments. Packages orders for shipment. Tracks shipments and equipment. Ensures accurate processing of returned and exchanged equipment. Skills Required
HS DiplomaGED. 1-2 yrs of data entry, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse or similar exp. Exp with ERP, MRP or Accounting Inventory systems. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Skills Preferred
Arena experience a plus.BOM Bill of Materials experience a plus.
