Customer Service Representative needed in Oxnard
Job Description
Work with potential and current customers by providing product and service questions and potentially suggesting additional information that would benefit them. Assists in maintaining updated and accurate accountcustomer contact information. Handle incoming callsemails from prospective customers. High emphasis on attention to detail and strong organizational skills Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint determining the cause of the problem selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem expediting correction or adjustment following up to ensure resolution. Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes including the maintenance of ordercustomer information and communicate changes to the appropriate personneldepartment. Oversee a designated territory and work to build customer relationships. Assist with sales team as needed and quote with projects and potential orders, including needed freight quotes. Be able to problem solve and make effective decisions and solutions. Respond to customers in a timely manner. Develop strong company knowledge of product and processes. Work as a team by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills Required
High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of customer service exp. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to handle 75-150 calls and 125-175 emails per day.
Skills Preferred
Knowledge of Accounting, Contract Management or Database software
