| Job Description The Project Engineer develops technical concepts into product designs to meet customer specifications and is responsible for driving projects to serial production. To win customer projects. Lead technical discussions internally and externally on a variety of topics including but not limited to Product Design, Component Material Selection, Product Performance to Specified Requirements, and Manufacturing Capabilities for Cable Assembly Projects. Calculate and manage all project costs. Provide the best technical solution and product design to meet customer specified requirements.Create and develop drawings, Bills of Material, and product specifications . Enter BOM and component classification into PDM system. Develop Project Milestones for new cable assembly projects. Schedule product design reviews for cable assembly projects.Provide engineering support to Manufacturing Team as needed for sample builds, prototypes, and NPIfirst runs.Provide approval of first articles.Provide final approval of production validation.Manage design changes for drawings and BOM as necessary throughout the entire product life cycle. | Skills Required BA Degree Technical. 3-5 Years experience in engineering, project coordination, or technical sales with electromechanical components. 2 years experience with Interconnects including daily interaction with customer base.ERPPLM | |
