Job Description
Responsible for licensing, contract negotiation, and management of Vendors. Oversee a timely and efficient contracts process that results in a cost effective operation and administration for the company. Ensures that 3rd party contractual risk is mitigated for critical vendor relationships through due diligence and monitoring processes. Managerial responsibility over the Contracts Team and its daily operation. Responsible for negotiating and managing all applicable 3rd party vendor contracts. All contracts are negotiated in the interest of the most favorable terms and price. Establish vendor pipeline management to ensure all contracts are reviewed as needed for due diligence and renewal. Maintain and enhance process and procedures for full lifecycle management of vendors, including internal processes and support of division activity. Maintain quality assurance, audit and advisory capacity for full lifecycle of contracts and vendor management activities. Work in conjunction with Division leadership and internal customers to develop a departmental strategic plan in support of the companys strategic and operational priorities. Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company. Serves as a trusted advisor to Executive and Senior Leadership teams, including executive monthly reporting. Effectively translates business strategy into an integrated talent strategy for the enterprise. Ensures the development, implementation, and coordination of departmental plans and programs and the formulation and regulatory compliance of related policies and procedures. Administer recurring routines, including committee meetings with core business partners, to drive a shared understanding, prioritization and fulfillment of initiatives. Skills Required
BA Degree in Business, Finance or similar. Direct exp with Contracting, document formulation, and principles of Business Law. Proficient in MS Excel, Word. Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
Skills Preferred
MBA preferred. Familiarity with all phases of Mortgage Banking. Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.
