Job Description
Responsible for being an instrumental part of the Contracts team in the formulation of the departmental contracts and for soliciting and evaluating bids, selecting vendors, and ensuring an overall fluid contractual process. They ensure a timely and efficient purchasing process that results in cost effective operation and administration for the company. Responsible for negotiating and managing contracts. Oversee the management of all third party vendorssuppliers and contracts. Work in conjunction with Division leadership and internal customers to develop a departmental strategic plan in support of the companys strategic and operational priorities and howwhere contracts plays a part. Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company. Serves as a trusted advisor to Executive and Senior Leadership teams and present contract related updates as requested in kind. Ensures the development, implementation, and coordination of departmental plans and programs and the formulation and regulatory compliance of related policies and procedures. Administer recurring routines, including committee meetings with core business partners, to drive a shared understanding, prioritization and fulfillment of initiatives. Maintain and publish status and exception management reporting for relevant departmental management priorities. Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organizations desired culture and values.
Skills Required
BA Degree in Business, Finance or similar. Conversant with technical and critical components of software contracts and their related document types. Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles and processes. MS Office proficient.
Skills Preferred
Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.
