Leads the Systems Engineering discipline in the design and packaging of visible and infrared Imaging Systems and Focal Plane Arrays.Acts as the Systems Engineering lead in the design, fabrication, assembly and delivery of imaging systems Interacts with customers to meet specifications through meetings and TeleconsHolds milestone reviews with customers under the direction of Program ManagementPerforms risk analysis and managementComposes interface control documents, TIS specifications and Environmental Quality test plansAnalyzes the Verification and Validation MatrixWorks with supplier liaison to generate SOW to meet EIDPPrepares Deliverable End Item Data packagesFrequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning ERP system for tracking and reporting of dataWork with Material Resource Planning MRP systems for managing drawings and bills of materialsAdvanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel PowerPointHave experience with sensor product requirements, understand methodologies for how to verify requirements by test, analysis, inspection or demonstrationUnderstanding of Cryogenic IR Sensor productsAbility to identify and assess risksSkills in test of infrared sensorAbility to use skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective waysCapability to independently determine methods and procedures on new or special assignmentsExcellent verbal, written and presentation communication skillsAdvanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel PowerPointDisplays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
Masters Degree in Engineering with three 3 years of related technical experience of Ph.D. in related technical field. Experience with sensor product requirements, understand methodologies for how to verify requirements by test, analysis, inspection.
