Job Description
Responsible for 211 resource database work, supporting 211 projects, and 211 website development. Requires the ability to maintain high quality, detail oriented, efficient work on multiple projects on an ongoing basis. Reports to 211 Resource and Project SupervisorDUTIES1.Ensure quality and accuracy of 211 resource database entries, including updating existing database entries and creating new entries 2.Edit and organize written documentation about community services based on AIRS Standards and department best practices3.Communicate with service providers related to database work as needed4.Identify new resources available in the community through online research for inclusion in the 211 database5.Update the 211 website, including adding content as needed6.Support additional 211 projects, including completing special projects related to resource database improvements or services for callers7.Support department funder and community reporting8.Complete program outreach as needed9.Assist with texting and call handling as neededStrong written communication and ability to synthesize information. Must be able review information about service providers, identify key information, organize information based on order of important, and edit information so it is written in a clear, concise, and objective manner.trong verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with service providers in a professional manner by phone to encourage follow up and to clarify details of services offered.Detail-oriented with focus on high quality work. Must update information in resource database according to established guidelines and meet our Quality Assurance standard consistently.Able to keep to timelines. Must be able to track progress and follow timelines for database updates.
Skills Required
BABS degree or equivalent experience. Preferred experience with data analysis reporting providing information and referral services or phone services, or social services Intermediate level Excel, Outlook, WordPress, and Power BI.
