|Data Analyst needed in Santa Barbara|
The Data Analyst is passionate about shaping the companys understanding of our clients, solving business challenges and measuring impact, through data mining and reporting. Challenges could include identifying revenue opportunities and acquisition strategies, understanding product performance and profitability and evaluating customer segmentation, satisfaction and marketing attribution, in addition to ad hoc projects. Position works alongside Chief Strategy Officer CSO, Marketing and Product Management, but will work closely with all lines of business to ensure exceptional customer experiences and gain feedback from clientassociate interactions. Create analysis-ready data sets SQL, R including data acquisition from various sources, integration, quality control, etc. Gain proficiency in companys business systems and data structures to be a subject-matter expert. Create and distribute monthly Pricing Committee packets and enhance to meet the needs of the Committee. Employ various modeling e.g. attribution, predictive, regression, behavioral economics, etc and data visualization techniques to inform strategic plans, sales opportunities and to conduct ROI analyses. Manage third party relationships with vendors responsible for client segmentation, product usage data. Assist in evaluation of software and other applications to improve effectiveness of functions reporting. Incorporate Risk Assessment thinking into all programs and projects to ensure the Banks reputational and monetary safety.
BA Degree. 3 yrs of exp in a business intelligence, data analyst or marketing analytics role. Strong foundation in conducting and analyzing quantitative research, predictive modeling and regression analyses. Advanced in Excel, Word, Outlook.
BA or BS Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline e.g. statistics, data science, mathematics, marketing analytics. 2 years working in bankingfinancial services preferable, not required.
